Electric Guitar Lessons at Chris K Music.
Our method of guitar is truly unique, using a combination of chord building and music reading exercises to achieve the best results for any student. We focus on technique and concepts from the very beginning to build a strong musical foundation for any veteran and up-and-coming musicians. Our new “Simple Chord Series” has guitarists playing real music with only a few music lessons.
We also offer great tricks and tips to help guitarists in every musical setting.
Our main areas of focus are:

- Lead Sheets and Vocal Charts
- Chord Construction and Music Theory
- Musical Styles including Contemporary Christian, Praise and Worship, Pop, Country, Rock, Classical, Jazz, Latin, and many other popular styles of music
- Strong emphasis on rhythms and musical timing
- Sound development through use of pedals and effects boards
- Instrument Tuning and Guitar Repair
- Full understanding of guitar mechanics and amplifier knowledge
We currently use a set of customized materials for all chords, rhythms, and sheet music. Method books may include Hal Leonard’s Guitar Method Complete, The Guitar Method for the Modern Guitarist, Speed Mechanics, and Fret Logic.
