We get alot of questions about Spring Break during this time of year, and YES we are still teaching.  We have students in many areas, all with different Spring breaks or without.  Our studio functions year round with a few vacations throughout the year. Make-up lessons are available for students traveling during break.

Students at Chris K Music have a unique opportunity to record CD’s at our home studio in Mattoon, IL.  Our studio is equipped with digital mixers with some of the industries best DAW’s and microphones.

Voice projects and lessons provides students with the opportunity to arrange music that fits his or her style and voice! Our new recording lessons allows students to use the skills learned in lessons to produce music in their own style.  Students get to arrange music using a variety of tools including tempo, feel, instruments, song form,  and overall sound of the recording.

We are excited to announce this wonderful addition to our teaching studio’s and look forward to all upcoming students!

Music lessons will include a variety of instruments to all ages.

Our current lessons times are between 7:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday’s.

I hope everyone has had a wonderful and rewarding year as we have at Chris K Music.  I can’t believe how fast the year has gone! Our studio has been blessed with over 100+ students in private and group lessons throughout the Mattoon studio, St. John’s, and now the new Arthur location starting in January 7th 2012!

I can’t thank the Lord enough for providing me the tools to teach such wonderful students of all ages and abilities. My family has also been blessed with a healthy baby boy this year, and his passion for music is growing as well!  I can’t wait to see what 2012 has in store for all of our musical families.
